Pencils are all done, and the picture is complete. However, my scanner is a *insert your favourite expletive here* and doesn't like working with red. The middle orange looks like a pastel orange in the original, the red is more subtle, and the middle piece looks like yellowish cream. I hate my scanner -_-

Tau is a member of a race called the G'st, who are one of many in a multi-species universe I'm currently RPing with someone. They live primarily in water, and breath through their hair (like sea anenome). They have sets of prosthetic legs they can attach under their tail fins (all custom made for each individual) so they can walk around on dry land. It doesn't cause them any trouble, so long as the humidity doesn't fall really low.

They reproduce by swallowing the eggs of other sea creatures and using that as half the genetic material for a new G'st. This genetic material dictates their appearance and swimming pattern, as well as their tail fins. They generally live in families of between two to five adults and numerous children. They are a-sexual and have no private parts like we do (effluent is a different matter).

The G'st are renowned for their biological knowledge and medical ability across the galaxy. As such, Tau is a medic on a mercenary ship. She is extremely gentle and soft in nature. She is kind and caring, putting the feelings and wellbeing of others around her first and foremost.
